Step 1. Subscribe
It’s currently free to subscribe to videos using RSS. Go to the gateways page and pick a gateway and then add that RSS link to your RSS reader or podcast app.
Step 2. Get an Arweave Wallet
To be able to comment on our page, or host your own, you’d need an Arweave wallet.
In the future, Simplified Privacy will be releasing our own wallet that can be used with HydraVeil. In the meantime, there are web browser extensions such as the Wanderer. These extensions allow you to create a wallet and receive AR coins.
Note: The Wander works better on Chromium-based browsers such as Brave, but does not work with HydraVeil at the time of this writing.
Step 3. Get Arweave Coins
Simplified Privacy offers a quick and cheap swap service to get AR coins. Users can pay with Monero, Bitcoin Lightning, Litecoin, or Bitcoin. And get under $20 worth for social media and file uploads.
Step 4. Microfee to Comment
To be able to comment and participate across any gateway, the user has to make a small one-time payment of 1 AR to the content creator. If it was free to comment, then there'd be no way to block spam, since someone could just create more wallets if blocked. Also, by paying a very small one time fee to join, members help pay Arweave's hosting costs and support the content creator.

This is roughly $5 USD at the time of this writing
That one-time payment goes to the content creator, but then it's one penny worth of AR to the protocol to comment each time. This is way more censorship resistant than other methods such as Substack, Patreon, or Youtube Demonetization.
Step 4. Create Yourself.
Arweave’s protocols and libraries are open source and can openly accessed by anyone. You’re free to create content and post it to the blockchain.
